Typically I'm spending inordinate amounts of time reading The New York Times and soaking up my Twitter feed, but when I'm looking for inspiration, here's where I turn towards:
numero uno
The Dieline
I'm addicted to the before-and-afters spotlighted here. The Dieline focuses on packaging design for just about everything under the sun--first aid kits to wine bottles to waffles and more.
NUMERO DOS
Friends of Type
Before heading here, make sure to block out at least two hours off your schedule! A collaborative effort between Aaron Carambula, Erik Marinovich, Dennis Payongayong, and Jason Wong, Friends of Type is constantly populated with gorgeous typographic design and lettering features.
NUMERO TRES
Jessica Hische
Hands down one of my favorite designers. In the summer of 2013, I was lucky enough to join in one of her Letter Together workshops (with James Edmondson assisting!), and Jessica's truly a craftsperson in the fullest sense of the word.
NUMERO CUATRO
Speaker Deck
Confession: making slide decks are my guilty pleasure. Whenever I'm feeling a bout of slide decker's block, though, I make a pit stop to Speaker Deck for sure-fire inspiration.
